Performance

Jools Gilson performed every month during 2004 in a different city centre location, followed by a community knit in. These performances were a prelude and a call to needles for The Knitting Map in 2005. Taking place on the street, in shopping centres, even on the back of motorbikes, these playful, irreverent performances focussed on enticing the general public to risk knitting and join the growing community of knitters.
